Join the Pankh Marathon's vibrant 6km Costume Run and bring your fantasy or idol to life! Dress in your most outrageous outfit, be it a mythical creature, a hilarious meme, an inspiring legend, a theme to spread awareness or deliver a message, or anything your imagination conjures. Compete for top honours in three winning positions. It's an experience filled with laughter, cheers, and memories that last a lifetime. So gather your squad, don your most creative costume, and get ready for a dash of pure, unadulterated fun. The run will start at the TT Nagar Stadium and wind through the scenic city of Bhopal, offering breathtaking views and a vibrant atmosphere to keep you motivated. All the finishers will be awarded with a medal and completion certificate.

Important

Flag-off time: The flag-off time for the Costume Run is 7:30 am.
Reporting time: The reporting time for all the participants is 6:00 am
Age: The age requirement to enter the marathon race category is 12 years (born on or before 9.02.2007).
Costume Requirements: Costumes should be creative, fun, and family-friendly. Ensure costumes allow easy movement and do not pose a safety hazard. Full Body-paint costumes are not eligible. Nudity is not acceptable under any circumstances. Any signs or symbols that can be characterised as hate symbols or signs of discrimination cannot be displayed. This includes any symbol that is widely accepted as a symbol of oppression, hatred, or violence towards a specific group of people.
Safety Criteria: No sharp objects, loose accessories, or anything that may harm you or others is allowed. Secure your costume carefully. Masks are allowed but should not obstruct vision. No real weapons will be permitted as props. Your costume and props must be able to pass metal detectors, baggage scanners and the scrutiny of our venue security personnel. Footwear should be suitable for running
Judging Criteria: Costumes will be judged on creativity, originality, and adherence to the family-friendly theme. A panel of judges will determine the top three winners based on the mentioned criteria. The decision of the judge/s on the number of winners declared shall be final and binding on all.
COVID-19 Vaccination: The participant must have taken both doses of COVID-19 vaccination approved by WHO at the time of registration.
Race Day T-shirt and Bib: Confirmed marathon participants will receive T-shirts and Bibs before the event day at Onewalk, Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, sponsored by ToneOp Eats-The Health Kitchen. We will do our best to provide the singlet/tee size that you have chosen. If that size isn't available, the next best size will be provided. No requests for size or colour changes will be granted. Please be aware that no one will receive a race day T-shirt through courier before or after the event. The Participants will get the T-shirt as a memento; however, the Costume Run participants must participate in the costume to be eligible for the category.
Finisher Medal: On race day, a finisher medal will be given to each participant who completes the marathon race category (please collect your medal before leaving the venue; medals will not be posted to individual runners).
All applicants must meet the standards outlined in the Health Guidelines at registration and as periodically instructed by the event promoter.
Participants must line up at the starting line on race day according to the schedule provided at registration.
Participation will be subject to Standard Rules and Regulations and Confirmation Criteria.
The top three participants with the most outstanding costumes will be awarded cash prizes.
Prizes will be announced during the awards ceremony after the marathon.

There were live performances and warm-up sessions before the Marathon. They also had mascots along the course, which was very entertaining for the kids. The crowd was also very supportive, and the energy was electric.
